The Cape Fear region is beautiful to visit by land and sea, but nothing compares to a bird’s eye view! All of our tours include Dolphin, Sea Turtle, and Shark spotting opportunities.

Experiencing our stunning vistas from the air will change your perspective forever. There are many tours to choose from, and we are always happy to create a custom tour on request. Located just 30 minutes from Downtown Wilmington, NC.

Each passenger must be less than 275/235lbs (R44/R22)  and able to be secured with a seat belt.

Any tour can become a SUNSET TOUR for an additional $50.

Note: Due to our tour reservation volume, requests for cancellations or refunds must be submitted 24 hours prior to your tour reservation time. Refunds cannot be issued for “no shows” or cancellations within 24 hours of your tour reservation time. Tours that cannot be flown due to weather will be rescheduled. Thank you for understanding.

Are you adventurous? Do you love historic sites? Then this excursion is for you! This new tour includes a 30 minute flight 34 miles offshore to the Frying Pan Tower where we will land and take you on a 30 minute guided tour of the former US Coast Guard Light Station. Watch sharks and fish swarming below in the crystal clear waters from the observation deck or check them out with the underwater cameras! A truly unforgettable experience!

Want to spend more time on the tower? You can pack a lunch and stay for a full hour if you upgrade to the FPT Experience

Start off venturing up the Cape Fear River to visit the USS North Carolina Battleship. Check out the diverse historic architecture of Downtown Wilmington as you make your way over to Wrightsville Beach. From then on it’s miles of beaches and historic sites, as you fly over unscathed Masonboro Island, then Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Fort Fisher, the NC Aquarium, Bald Head Island, Fort Caswell, & Oak Island, capturing stunning photos of the lighthouses and more.
This tour truly covers it all!

Our most popular tour encompasses both the Lighthouse Tour and Bald Head Island Tour – the Cape Fear Passport takes you even farther beyond to the untouched East Beach of Bald Head Island, then north to Fort Fisher, Kure Beach, & Carolina Beach. You can even see a Civil War shipwreck – the General Beauregard – just off Carolina Beach.
You will capture many stunning photos on this flight and most likely spot sharks in the ocean!

This tour starts with both lighthouses before taking you all the way around Bald Head Island and out to the magnificent point of Cape Fear itself!
Spot sea turtles and sharks swimming off Frying Pan Shoals as you enjoy a breathtaking view of the NC coast looking north and west from the cape.

Come see the beautiful township of St. James plantation from the air. You will see the 4 legendary golf courses, the full service marina, the beach club, and not to mention the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. This tour goes around St James to the Lockwood Folly river and down to the Atlantic ocean on the west end of Oak Island where the USS Iron Age rests after its shipwreck during the Civil War.

Do you love lighthouses?
You can fly over the oldest lighthouse in North Carolina – Old Baldy, then visit Fort Caswell on the way to the Oak Island Lighthouse, which is still active full time. Enjoy beautiful coastline vistas on this tour featuring 2 historic lighthouses.
